Asante Vivian Owusu is a dedicated and results-driven financial services professional with over twelve years of experience in Ghana’s microfinance and SME banking sector. She has built a strong reputation for leadership, operational efficiency, and a deep commitment to inclusive finance. Prior to her appointment at MASLOC, she held various leadership positions at Opportunity International Savings and Loans Ltd where she progressed from Customer Care Officer to Acting Branch Manager across multiple branches, including Tamale, Bibiani, Konongo, Sefwi Wiaso, Goaso and Kintampo.


Throughout her career, Vivian has led successful initiatives to improve loan recovery, enhance branch profitability, and expand financial access to underserved communities. Her approach blends strategic planning with on-the-ground experience, making her a strong advocate for development finance that responds to local needs.


Vivian is known for her collaborative leadership style, ethical standards, and her passion for empowering women, youth, and rural entrepreneurs through targeted financial solutions. Her appointment as Deputy Chief Executive Officer reflects MASLOC’s commitment to strengthening institutional leadership and driving inclusive, sustainable development across Ghana.
