On Labour Day, May 1st 2025 Hon. Abigial Elorm Akwambea Mensah, CEO of MASLOC, represented by her able deputy Khalida Seidu, (PPRME & Corporate ) delivered a key note message at the Women in Sustainability Africa Summit at the Wesley Towers Accra, highlighting the indispensable role of African women in labor and sustainability despite the continued challenges of discrimination and inequality. She emphasized MASLOC’s deliberate efforts to empower women economically through access to finance, training, and support in sectors like agriculture and agribusiness, which not only reduce poverty but also promote environmental responsibility. She also announced the MASLOC USER INVESTMENT FUND aimed at supporting over 16,000 female farmers across the country. A program to be implemented together with other interested parties to empower the Ghanaian woman She concluded with a passionate call for collective advocacy and sustained commitment to ensure women receive fair recognition for their contributions and that the environment is preserved for future generations.
