The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) on 26th May 2025, commenced a comprehensive three-day orientation program for staff at the Head Office. This initiative forms part of MASLOC’s strategic efforts to enhance institutional efficiency and equip employees with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their roles with diligence, professionalism, and a renewed sense of purpose.
This workshop was tailored specifically to foster a deeper understanding of MASLOC’s core operational framework. During the opening session, the Deputy CEO in charge of Policy Planning, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation (PPRME) and Corporate Communication, Madam Khalida Seidu took participants through an in-depth presentation of MASLOC’s vision, mission, and core values, highlighting the pivotal role each staff member plays in achieving its goals.
The Head of Human Resource, Mr. Patrick Ayittah also walked them through the institution’s organizational structure, enabling them to appreciate the chain of command, the roles, and responsibilities of various departments. Emphasis was placed on internal policies, codes of conduct, and ethical standards, ensuring that all staff members are aligned with MASLOC’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and customer-focused service delivery.
By the end of the three-day exercise, participants were better positioned to contribute meaningfully to MASLOC’s vision of promoting financial inclusion and empowering micro and small-scale entrepreneurs throughout the nation.
