Madam Vivian Owusu-Asante, the Deputy CEO (operations) of the Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC) led two (2) member team to a stakeholders engagement over the week at the AH Hotel in Accra.

The meeting organized by the Skyline Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Xiaocheng Technology Electronics Company Ltd, was to introduce affordable electronic vehicles into Ghana's transport sector.

The presentation highlighted the importance of Electronic Vehicles in attaining the Sustainable Development goals on the climate change and the reduction of carbon emissions in Ghana. It highlighted the use of EV vehicles in boosting the government's job creation agenda.
MASLOC, which has an enviable record in vehicle hire-purchase financing, was identified as a strategic partner in the future roll out of the initiative.

Madam Owusu-Asante speaking on behalf of the CEO, Madam Abigail Elorm Mensah pledged MASLOC's readiness to collaborate with skyline Technology for the roll out, adding that MASLOC has the clientele base and could easily come out with a proper payment schedule which will be a win-win situation for all parties.
