The third edition of the Made-in-Ghana Business Summit, was held today,Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre. The summit, organized by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, was held under the theme, “Promoting Regional Industrialization and Business Integration in Ghana,” and brought together over 400 influential public and private leaders across the country.
The event focused on promoting businesses that manufacture Ghanaian-made products and services, highlighting investment opportunities, and encouraging strategic partnerships between local enterprises and international stakeholders. It also emphasized the urgent need to reduce import dependency by enhancing local production to strengthen Ghana’s trade and industrial sectors.
Speaking on behalf of the CEO of MASLOC, Madam Vivian O. Asante Deputy CEO (Operations) reiterated the institution’s commitment to support small businesses with micro credit. She further called for support for the sustenance of Ghanaian businesses, “Let us not allow lack of capital to be the reason good businesses die.”
MASLOC's presence at the summit reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ghanaian entrepreneurs, particularly in the micro, small, and medium enterprise sector.
Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister for Local Government Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs delivering his keynote address promised the ministry’s commitment to strengthen partnerships at the local level by engaging traditional authorities (chiefs) and MDA’s to facilitate effective business integration for community development.
In attendance were representatives from various stakeholder organizations and Madam Sophia Vanderpuije, Head of Communications & Programs at MASLOC.
