The CEO of MASLOC Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah as part of the celebrations commemorating National Chocolate Day has distributed locally produced chocolates to employees, stakeholders, and some members of the media. The exercise, which was done on behalf of the CEO by Madam Eleanoy Tettey, Head of Corporate Affairs and Business Development at the head office, reaffirmed the CEO's commitment to staff for their contribution in making the institution a sustainable business.
She added that the CEO was impressed with the loyalty, dedication, diligence, hard work and brilliant ideas that have been demonstrated by employees and stakeholders to make the institution a sustainable business till date. Managers and staff from MASLOC's regional offices across the country expressed their gratitude for the wonderful gift and expressed their eagerness to give their all to the institution.
Speaking to some stakeholders and members of the media who were given boxes of chocolates, Madam Tettey reaffirmed the CEO's gratitude for their support over the years in highlighting the institution's efforts, particularly with the massive new reforms that have yielded results since her appointment as CEO.
The courtesy call to stakeholders, which took the corporate Affairs team to various media and partner institutions, re-echoed our support for the establishment of a "National Chocolate Day" to coincide with Valentine's Day, with the goal of increasing domestic consumption of Ghanaian chocolate and other cocoa-based products, promoting domestic tourism, and providing a healthy orientation to Valentine's Day celebrations in Ghana.
